The American Headache Society is now accepting applications for the next cohort of the AHS Leadership Academy, a leadership development program designed to strengthen the skills, confidence, and readiness of AHS members who aspire to take on broader leadership roles within the Society.
Leadership Academy offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from current AHS leaders, engage with leadership development experts, and build meaningful connections with fellow colleagues and AHS members. The program is designed to enhance participants’ leadership skills, support personal and professional growth, and prepare members to contribute more fully to the mission and future of AHS.
Participants will explore key leadership topics, including emotional intelligence, effective communication, strategic thinking, self-awareness, collaboration, and leadership in today’s evolving healthcare landscape. Through interactive sessions and guided discussions, participants will gain practical tools and insights to support their development as future leaders within AHS.
The program consists of four sessions: two in-person sessions and two virtual sessions. In addition, each accepted applicant will be paired with an AHS Board Member-At-Large, who will serve as their mentor throughout the program.
