2025 Emerging Leaders Program Application

AHS-EmergingLeaders

This year's Emerging Leaders Program takes place Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, AZ in conjunction with the 2025 Scottsdale Headache Symposium®

Program Details
The American Headache Society’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is dedicated to identifying and cultivating the next generation of leaders in headache medicine.  Through this longitudinal program, participants will learn about opportunities within the Society—such as committees, special interest sections, and task forces—and take part in targeted leadership development activities, including a team-based project.   Projects are determined by the Board of Directors and are of timely and strategic importance to the Society.  Program participants will work closely with project mentors who are leaders in the society and in the field of headache medicine.  They will provide wisdom and guidance to aid in the successful completion of the project.

The program fosters collaboration and networking, creating a supportive environment for building meaningful and long-lasting professional relationships.  Upon completion, graduates will emerge with enhanced leadership skills and a deeper understanding of service, inclusivity, and engagement.  The Emerging Leaders Program serves as a solid foundation for future success in leadership roles across organizational, institutional, and other domains.  This program fosters and directly aligns with the American Headache Society’s mission and values.
